Environmental and economic benefits of eliminating firescale
Argentium Silver alloys form a protective germanium oxide, which prevents the formation of firescale. Finished articles will therefore not require the harsh chemical treatments and abrasive applications that are necessary with other sterling silver alloys. Firescale-free Argentium Silver alloys provide workplace and environmental benefits, together with reduced finishing costs.
